FACILITIES

SCOPE

Machining processes and manufacturing solutions services, according to customer’s requirements ;complying with the legal and specific requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008 Unomatica was founded in 2013 in the city of Saltillo Coahuila, México. In 2018 we had a fusion with SIG to extend our services profile. Our facilities have 10,500 ft2 (980 m2) where we have our machining and welding tool shops, spare parts warehouse and special projects for manufacturing solutions construction area.

TOOL SHOP SERVICES

Our Tool shop has a total of 18 people with the best skills to perform the activities to develop the services we offer.

• LATHE PROCESS. Machining process in lathe machines for any cylindrical shape, our

equipment has the capability to work with pieces from 1/16” to 45” diameters.

• MILLING PROCESS. We have machines with capability for 12” x 40” pieces for profile

machining, squaring, drilling, etc.

• GRINDING PROCESS.
• Surface Grinding. We have equipment for surface grinding on 12 x 40” pieces.
• Cylindrical Grinding. We have equipment for cylindrical grinding on 10 x 60” pieces.

TOOL SHOP SERVICES

• CNC MACHINING PROCESS
• Lathe CNC Machine. Machining process on lathe CNC machine for productive pieces or

special pieces design.

• Machining center. We have equipment for manufacture of productive pieces or 3D

special designed pieces with capability of 20” x 40” dimensions.

• CUTTING PROCESS. We have equipment for material cutting process like band saw machines,

disc cutter machines,

• WELDING PROCESS. For the construction of metallic structures, work stations, racks,

manufacturing equipment, we have our specialized welding tool shop where we use SMAW machines, MIG welding machines, TIG welding machines & autogenous welding.

• PAINT AND FINISHING PROCESS. We offer painting and finishing services performed in

a special designed area to assure the activity is being developed with the maximum level of detail and quality.

ENGINEERING SERVICES

Our team of special projects for manufacturing solutions has 4 mechanical designers and 2 control engineers to support our customer’s needs.

• ENGINEERING & DESIGN. In the engineering & design area the schemes and drawings are

done by our specialists to provide the best service and visual aid necessary for production. Our work team uses the following software to perform the task:

• METROLOGY. This area is specifically designed for validation of our delivery products. The

validation consist in dimensional compliance, end finishing, material hardness, etc.

ENGINEERING SERVICES

• TUBE SOLUTIONS. We offer our services for all tube solutions for the industry, specializing on chamfer, decoat,

end forming and crimping processes.

• AUTOMATION AND ROBOTICS. Design and construction of specialized equipment for manufacturing solutions

is one of our company’s strengths. Automatic assembly stations, Industrial Robots integration in manufacturing cells, etc.

• TOOLING AND SUPPLIES. Our company is fully equipped to fulfill all our customer’s tooling requirements
