- In tarot it corresponds to pentacles or coins (depending on the
deck)
- Root chakra – survival, family, tribe, connection
- Third dimension/Our senses

– It’s a defensive mechanism and also habit for those who are very sensitive. – When this happens:

Acceptance
- Acceptance does NOT mean settling.
- You don’t have to like it but you have to
accept it. -> This is how the “pain” is alleviated.
- Huge spiritual lesson: Can you be in a place of
acceptance before you have what you want?

Presence
- Acceptance moves you into a state of presence and here is
where the world comes ALIVE!
- As Eckhart Tolle says, “You are not your mind”

- Quickest way to practice is breathe work!
- Mindfulness – the story is not the truth only the present
moment is – Sooner you can get a hold of this the less suffering you will do via your mind.

What being present does:
- Own who you are
- Shifts your vibration
- Heart is open
- Can manifest and attract more to you
- Drop the struggle, let your breath bring you
back into your body and out of your mind!

- Being present and being in acceptance allows you
to also pick up clues from your body.
- Body has it’s own language of
– feelings, emotions, symbols, sensations, mood
- This is connected to your intuition
- More than you may first realize – body is
communicating with you constantly giving you feedback.
- Being present allows you to KNOW the language

- Body’s language is binary
- Meaning it has only TWO “tones”
- Expansion or Contraction
– When something is true
- The body responds with pleasure, openness,
expansion, warmth. Think about someone you love? What happens to your body. This is important to understand more.
- Often comes from the center of your being or
goosebumps

– The energy contracts, you feel tight, cold, feeling in your stomach (hello solar plexus!) – Body tends to withdraw, pull back – Example: Story of yoga friend!

- Close your eyes
- Breathe deeply and softly
- Send down a glowing cord connected from your feet or
base of your tailbone into the center of earth
- Feel it move through the soil, the dirt, the crust of
earth
- Make that cord 50 times larger
- Visualize this supporting you and “embracing” you
enough so that you feel safe
- Note: flexible cord that allows you to move
