Since all assignments are entered at the start of the year, and all are pre-graded with a 45/NY, searching for “Upcoming Assignments” or “Graded Assignments” will show you all the assignments that have been entered, just as in the “All Assignments” view. However, you may use this search screen to look at assignments by Learning Target.
Choose the Learning Target in the Category field. Set Date greater than to “09/01/2018.” Change Grade Status to “Graded.” Press Apply Filters. The search below found all the assignments in “Habits of Scholarship” Learning Target.
Here, you can see how students are graded in each class (& how they are doing).
There’s also historical information:
Grades - How to Understand Each of Your Classes
Under “Class Performance” you can select a class to look at all the assignments for the semester, check student attendance, and see what level of mastery they’re at for each Long-Term Learning Target.
Choose the class you want to see from the drop-down menu. In every class, students start at 45%, but as they complete (and REVISE) their work, they’ll make small steps towards mastery!
If you scroll down, you’ll see a breakdown of how students have done on all of their assignments and your overall Attendance.
This chart will turn from mostly red (Not Graded Yet / No Mastery) to increasingly yellow, green, and blue as they complete work and make progress. This chart should be almost entirely Green (Present). If students are often late or absent from class, then they need to develop better Habits of Scholarship!
If you keep scrolling down, you can see every assignment in the class (along with the Long-Term Learning Target that it belongs to).
For example, these two assignments are under the Long Term Learning Target: “I can simplify expressions involving numbers and variables.” Both have a 45/100, which indicates that they haven’t been assigned / graded yet.
At the bottom of each class page, you can see how teachers have weighted each of the Long Term Learning Targets. For academic classes, Habits of Scholarship will always be 20% of the total grade. The other Long Term Learning Targets will make up the other 80%.
LT #3 is worth 30% of the final
concept / skill to master!
Under “Report Cards” you’ll eventually be able to look up past report cards. (But there’s nothing there yet, because we just started using Pupil Path.)
UG students only - under “Transcripts” you can see progress towards HS graduation - it can show you credits earned by subject or by year
Under “Exams” you can find a record of 3rd-8th grade state test and/or Regents results (if studetns took them).
Click “Attendance” on the side tab
Click “Daily Attendance” to show the daily record of attendance. This will show your student’s overall attendance(taken first period) that is reported to the DOE.
Click “Course Attendance” to view individual class attendance and lateness.
