 Pavement shows signs of distress.  Bridges over Ashwaubenon Creek constructed in

1952 and 1956 need to be replaced.

 Wingwalls on box culvert at Dutchmans Creek are

tipping.

 Provide improvements that meet current WisDOT

design standards.

 Address operational, physical, and safety concerns

along the highway.

 Project Limits

 Approximately 500-1000 feet north of 8th Street Roundabout to

Lombardi Avenue.

 Resurfacing project.  Concrete repair at intersections.  Replace bridges over Ashwaubenon Creek.  Replace box culvert wingwalls at Dutchmans

Creek.

 Upgrade traffic signals to current standards.

 Replace guardrail within project limits.  Replace railroad crossing surface and signals.  Access to property north of Vanderperren Way to

be updated.

 Project to be constructed in 2017.

 Road will be closed between Parkview Road and

Hansen Road for bridge construction.

 WIS 32 traffic will be detoured to US 41.  Ashland Avenue will reopen to through traffic after

bridge construction is complete.

 Resurfacing work to be completed under single

lane closures.

 Temporary side road closures for concrete repair

and signal upgrades.

 Vanderperren Way Property

 Add left turn lane for northbound and southbound lanes to the

south of the access point.

 Access from driveway will be left in – right in – right out only.  Southbound drivers can perform u-turn at Vanderperren Way

to go north.
