Questions

  • How long will the water be shut off?

Scheduled water shut off typically takes 4-6 hours. Affected properties will be notified 48 hours prior to the scheduled shut off by the contractor using door hangers.

  • Will there be any disruption to the sewer service?

No sewer disruption is anticipated.

  • Will the contractor restore the grass affected by construction?

Grass areas affected by construction will be restored to match existing condition and will require watering by the property owner after being established. The city inspector will videotape the project area to document existing conditions before the start of construction.

  • Is the driveway still accessible?

Parking in your driveway may be restricted during the installation of pipes and street reclamation process. This will be coordinated with you by the contractor.

  • How to maintain the traffic during construction?

The construction will be in two phases. Park Row Drive to Mitchell Street and Mitchell Street to UTA Blvd. One way traffic will be allowed in only ONE phase at a time. Stabilization and paving will also be performed in two phases. Two way traffic will be maintained on one phase at all times.
