Requirements of Basic Registration or Application

  • The mark must be identical to

that of the basic application or registration.

  • The goods and services in the

international application must be substantially equal or narrower than those of the basic application or registration.

Vulnerability to Central Attack

  • The international registration

depends on the existence of the basic application or registration for 5 years from the date of its registration.

  • The international registration

is cancelled if the basic application or registration is cancelled.
