To understand more about stray cats and ways we can help them. We also want to try and make our own homemade cat food to compare and test out its differences and also the creation process. To understand more about stray cats and ways we can help them. We also want to try and make our own homemade cat food to compare and test out its differences and also the creation process.

Our environment is filled with stray cats, and we wanted to help them by feeding them. We are also interested in making our

We used a weekly planner to help arrange the things we needed to do.

Design

We previously made analysis and reports which help us understand the language and structure.

BAHASA

We counted the population of cats and problems they are facing at the moment.

individual And society

We researched about nutrition and cooked cat food in different ways.

biology

We made charts and percentages.

math

We researched about ingredients that contain stuff that could benefit the cat’s growth and health.

self-management

I had to reflect on my self multiple times because every time I did research I keep thinking that it wasn’t enough but for some reason, so I had to reflect on why it felt like that, turns out I wasn’t giving it my all. So the next time I did research I have to give it my best shot.

self-management

We kept looking and sorting for journals and websites that fit our needs. We also experimented with the cat food recipe when we made mistakes.

DEMONSTRATE PERSISTENCE AND PERSEVERANCE When we make the cat food, we need to be focused and concentrated because if we have a problem we need to find the solution

FIRST

BATCH

SECOND

BATCH

  • nly comparing wet food

The first batch the main ingredients are fish, ground beef and liver meat. the first batch is food without gelatin. The first batch is little bit solid between the second batch. When we made the second batch it was too watery so we had to improvise. We improvise with agar-agar, since the recipe initially needed the agar-agar. We did also have less fish than the first batch because we were fooled by the seller.

slide-21
SLIDE 21

{ {

FIR IRST BATCH

The first batch have more fish then the second batch The first batch color look more dark grey, it’s because the fish. We give the fish more then the meats. This first batch is hard to swallowed because it still less soft because I saw the cat eating and it hard to swallowed. The first batch steps is more easy then the second batch because the second batch have an extra step

slide-22
SLIDE 22

SECOND BATCH SECOND BATCH

The second batch was created 2 times because, it was too watery because we added to much milk which is why we added agar2. The texture then became jelly- like, we then mashed it till it became chunky. We then placed the cat food on the food bowl, we also added milk into the food bowl because hydration. We found 4 cats, and they all ate it as if they haven’t eaten in 10 days. It’s like eating a 4 star restaurant’s meal. The cats seemed to REALLY like the cat food that we made. They didn’t stop eating it until we had to shoo them away, they also finished the milk. We then adventured in Lunya’s complex, on the search for cats to feed.

We accidentally asked only for “340 grams of mackerel” and not “340 grams of mackerel fillet.” Don’t do this.

We added gelatin (because wet food usually have them), but if you leave it to rest for a while they will eventually thicken.

The all-nighter was last minute, so we should’ve manage time more effectively for tasks that we can complete beforehand and our solution c

skills

thinking

When we interviewed, we changed some of the words because some of the answers is the same.

INTERPRET DATA

We combined our knowledge on what we found out/discovered about cats and made a conclusion on what to make and what to do.

COMBINE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND SKILLS TO CREATE PRODUCTS OR SOLUTION

There are more than one category of non-domestic cats, there’s two. One is strays, which has grown up with human contact, and the other is ferals which grows up without human contact.

REVISE UNDERSTANDING BASED ON NEW INFORMATION AND EVIDENCE

slide-27
SLIDE 27

skills

communication

We have to make different questions for different audience (because we interview doctors and cat lovers, they have different answers and different questions).

WRITE FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES

Analysis’ are usually short and summarized, reports are longer and detailed, while interview questions are straightforward.

USE APPROPRIATE FORMS OF WRITING FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES AND AUIDENCES

LEARNT

new things

  • Cats need to be vaccinated
  • nce a year.
  • Some specific types of cats

need their own proper diet (overweight, etc)

  • I learned how to make cat

food and its ingredients

  • I learned how to edit a video
  • Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is

more effective to minimize the population because it prevents cats from mating.

  • There’s three different ways

your pet food can be qualified for sale.

skills

improved

I tried my best to help my friends if needed, and I ask them for help as well. This exchange allows me to be flexble and respect everyone’s tasks equally. For reading journals since they are lengthy.

PREVIEW AND SKIM TEXT TO BUILD UNDERSTANDING EXERCISE LEADERSHIP AND TAKE ON A VARIETY OF ROLES WITHIN THE GROUP

When I was told to do research, I would only do 2-3 sources, but now, after doing Community Project, I have to get 3+ because the more you find out about the topic, the more questions you have and the more research you do.

SEEK A RANGE OF PERSPECTIVES FROM MULTIPLE, VARIED SOURCES

I learned on how to make more debatable questions because there are are a lot of debatable probelms in the topic.

FORMULATE FACTUAL, TOPICAL, CONCEPTUAL, AND DEBATABLE QUESTIONS

When the interviewer answers our questions, I listened and appreciated their answers.

LISTEN ACTIVELY TO OTHER PERSPECTIVES AND IDEAS

We speak formally and politely depending on the interviewee.

USE A VARIETY OF SPEAKING TECHNIQUES TO COMMUNICATE
