If you observed carefully, the structure used is Present Progressive (or Present Continuous). In here we will use it to talk about future

  • arrangements. These future arrangements are plans that someone has

decided and organized. Example: My sisters are having lunch at the restaurant tomorrow. Subject + verb to be + (verb + ing) + complement + time reference

When we talk about future arrangements to someone else, there might be some questions. Examples: Are you leaving on vacation next month? Are you having an exam in two weeks? Is she doing homework tonight? Verb to be + subject + (verb + ing) + complement + time reference ?

In the dialogue, Anton says “we are going to make pancakes tomorrow morning”. It means it was a plan made some time ago. When Paula says “Ok, I’ll come!” it is because the decision was made in that moment. Remember “future will” is used for spontaneous actions.
