  26. Review Grade 9 elective Course Descriptions under the various Subject Disciplines

  27. Music Repertoire is selected as the last course. Choose 2 alternates

  28. Use the Graduation Indicator to track your credits. Click on ‘View Progress’ for a complete review.

  29. The Graduation Indicator reveals that 8 out of 9 of the credits in this student’s plan will count towards their Compulsory Credit total.

  30. Course Selection Issues & Important Course Information Issue Note: Missing prerequisite or co-requisite. Please select the proper prerequisite or submit with comment explaining rationale. Guidance Message: Please review and observe these important notes from Guidance regarding specialized programs e.g. this course is for students in the Gifted Program.

  34. Summary of Important Dates:  January 31, 2020 – Registration forms due to Newmarket High School  return to your Grade 8 teacher prior to this date  February 12 th – February 24 th window for online submission of course selection  Show your parent/guardian and Grade 8 teacher your course selection prior to submitting February 24 th is the submit DEADLINE!  Click submit , print your Sign-Off sheet and have it signed by your parent/guardian  Hand in Sign-Off sheet to your Grade 8 teacher by February 26 th .
