What can my students expect in a Performance Assessment?
- Performance Assessments test repertoire,
technique and musicianship (ear training and sight reading)
- Assessments are taken in a one-on-one setting
- Adjudicators maintain a positive and
comfortable environment for students
- Length of assessment varies depending on level
What does the assessment process involve?
Step-by-Step Process: 1.Parents sign up for an account online, which then allows you to sign up for an assessment during the registration period 2.Student prepares for and takes assessment 3.Approximately two weeks later, student receives score via email 4.Shortly thereafter, student receives email of score with adjudicator comments 5.Student receives Royal Conservatory Music Development Program Certificate for completing the level in which they participated
