Services

  • Related Services (OT, PT, SL, CARS, PT, BIS, O & M, Vision,

Hearing)

  • Resource Room (all schools) provides a moderate amount of support

as a stand alone service or supplementary support for special classes. Specific skill weaknesses, as noted in IEP goals, are addressed intensely to support generalization in general education classes.

  • Integrated Co-Teaching (all schools) provides full-time support to

students in general education classes as needed and recommended.

  • Hybrid programs (all schools) individualize strengths and

weaknesses and can be a combination of the above.

  • 15:1:1 (WMS,HHS) classes in all schools remain true to the grade

level curriculum with full-time special education teacher support. Modifying the curriculum is discouraged, but considered if necessary, for individual students and recommended accordingly on IEPs.

  • 12:1:2 special classes (FECC, HES, OES, HHS) provide a grade

level parallel curriculum that is modified and adapted for individual

  • students. Part time (OES) or full time (FECC, HES, HHS).
  • 6:1:2 (FECC) and 8:1:2 classes (OES, WMS, HHS) follow a

functional life skills curriculum that provides students with significant curriculum modifications.
