Paul and Klare were deeply religious, devoted to family and community, and together they supported many philanthropic and charitable causes.

  3. Paul and Klare Reinhold with daughters Anne and June, circa 1923 Through the Foundation, Paul and Klare’s grandchildren and great grandchildren continue to provide programs that support Clay County nonprofit organizations that strive to improve the quality of life for residents of Clay County. Principal among these programs are the Reinhold Foundation Leadership Development and Capacity Building Initiative , dedicated to enhancing the leadership skills within nonprofit organizations that serve Clay County, and Celebrate Clay , an annual awards program created to recognize, reward, and encourage community service within Clay County. Founded in 1954, the Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation is celebrating its 60th year of philanthropy. Perpetuating the ethos of cathedral building in doing good in the community

  4. Perpetuating the ethos of cathedral building in doing good in the community Mission: To perpetuate the ethos of cathedral building in doing good in the community within the context of Christian values and family continuity (unity) and to share in the celebration of family heritage.

  5. Celebrate Clay Annual Community Service Awards Celebrate Clay was created in 2009 by The Paul E. & Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. to recognize, reward, and encourage community service within Clay County and to honor the legacy of Paul E. Reinhold.

  6. Paul E. Reinhold • Eldest son of a baker who immigrated from Germany in 1889 to Verona, Pittsburgh • Built Foremost Products into one of the world’s largest dairies after rescuing it from near bankruptcy during the Great Depression • In 1931, his accomplishments caught the attention of J.C. Penney and Penney asked Reinhold to take over a failing dairy company in Florida • This began a relationship that lasted a lifetime and a business enterprise that reached from Foremost headquarters in Jacksonville to nations around the world • Throughout, Reinhold leaned heavily on the story of the lesson of the workmen who were not merely shaping stone for the massive structure before them, but building a cathedral

  7. Paul E. Reinhold Paul Reinhold shaped lives and left an indelible mark on all those who shared in his boundless energy, his love of living, and his appreciation of the simple beauty of God’s creations. His creed was expressed in the story of the cathedral builders.

  8. Celebrate Clay Annual cash awards are presented to non- profit groups providing outstanding services, as selected by a panel of judges who vote the best for that year. Since 2009, the Reinhold Foundation has awarded $390,000 to more than 100 nonprofit organizations at its annual “Celebrate Clay” community service awards breakfast.
