Premedical Planning During Intersession 2019 Presented by David Verrier , PhD, Premedical Advising Consultant and Katherine Summerton, BA, MHS, Medical School Applicant ‘19 Friday, November 30, 3:00 pm, Becton Dickinson Hall (W1020) This workshop is intended for students applying to medical school for entry in 2020. It will highlight an exercise to be completed during the January intersession to promote reflection and self-exploration to help you better understand your motivations, values, beliefs, and influences impacting the choice of medicine as a career. This exercise is designed to be a prelude to writing your personal statement, which will be the focus of the workshop "Writing Your Personal Statement" at the beginning of the 3rd term. In addition, since many of you will studying intently during intersession for a future MCAT, the workshop will also focus on MCAT resources, study tips, and setting up a study plan.
