The Bad News We are currently in an ‘Estyn Category’. We are in need of ‘Significant Improvement’. The Good News We have a clear plan of action. We have a team of hard working and dedicated staff. You have a school that wants to listen and wants you to be part of the improvement journey. Any Questions?

Possible changes to the start of the school day from September 2015

Preferred option for school

  • 9am start for all pupils

Rationale

  • The closure of Griffithstown Infants and Kemys Fawr Infants

means there is no longer a case for parents requiring time to get between the various sites Aim

  • Bring Griffithstown into line with other schools
  • Provide clarity for all parents about the start and end of the

school day Decision

  • The decision will be made by governors at the next governors’

meeting on 17th November
