  15. First recommandations resulted from PC meetings (2010-2011) : Location of the PC starts to play a major role for future development of this kind of activity Opening the port centre to a wider public but stay concentrated on students and schools Port Centres.... all about the right balance between education, entertainment and communication Stay credible, do not abuse of promotion but remain neutral in the presentation Use the social networks to create the possibility for feedback, interaction and comments

  16. Port Center Network (PCN) Program Actions under process: identify budding projects and take note of the various initiatives with a confirmed pedagogical approach; constitute a data base of information and experiences enabling it to become a real management tool and decision aid for interested parties; address all the stakeholders (port and urban – public and private) to promote the port center concept as a real tool for the concrete implementation of the city – port relationship and thus also of the AIVP message; encourage the private and the educational sector ( schools, academic structures...) to work together on didactic and educational programs enabling the local and global challenges of port cities.
