EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROTOCOL IS A COMMON SET OF DEFINITIVE ACTIONS RECOGNIZED AND UNDERSTOOD BY AREA FIRST RESPONDERS. THIS PROTOCOL IS ALSO ENDORSED BY THE TEXAS SCHOOL SAFETY CENTER AT TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY.
