Overview Overview

PAWZ is a Performance Analysis Web Zone software which allows one to analyze performance data from multiple systems and platform (OpenVMS, Digital Unix, NT) from a single station.

It allows one to define platform specific performance characterization

  • policies. Up load these policies to each Node to be monitored. During the

day each node is running CP/Collector and storing performance information

  • n to a file. Every day at a pre-specified time (default mid-night) data

collected by CP/Collector is processed at each node according to the workload characterization policy for the node. The characterized workload is then downloaded to the PAWZ station and stored into MS-SQL database. Performance data stored in the database can now be viewed on the PAWZ station or from any of the node using web browser technology.
