Collaborative effort to advance the effectiveness of CA Community Colleges

Provides technical assistance to colleges through Partnership Resource Teams (PRT’s)

College CEO submits letter of interest to IEPI

Letter includes specific issues that would benefit from technical assistance

4 colleagues from CA community colleges

Visited Ventura College in November 2015
▶
Met with 13 different campus groups/committees in one day
▶
Visit focused on understanding current integrated planning and campus communication processes

4 colleagues returned to Ventura College in February 2016

Selecting options from the menu that best fit our campus needs

Developing an implementation plan for those options

Visit #3 is scheduled for January 2017 to assess progress

PRT gave Ventura College a custom “Menu of Options” for improvement

6 best practices to improve integrated planning

Served as supportive mini accreditation visit
▶
Helped develop plans to improve accreditation-critical processes

Kept our college on track during accreditation preparation

The Menu of Options and implementation plan formed the basis for

Faculty and staff felt that the PRT actively listened to them about campus issues
