Ambulance staff: Transfer from the care home to the hospital
staff and check to ensure that all paperwork is present and correctly completed
them that the paperwork is complete and discuss any issues arising ensuring hospital staff are aware that the Red Bag must stay with the person at all times. Hospital staff: Arrival at hospital and on the ward
ensure the Red Bag is present and complete and refer to the person’s enclosed paperwork
inside the Red Bag and remain closed at all times
in the Emergency Department and ensuring that it is placed in their locker or by their bed if they are transferred on to a ward.
