Submit a contributed abstract: data ethics

The Data Ethics stream aims to showcase the ethical issues facing statisticians and novel individual or governance responses to these challenges (inter)nationally. Ethics cuts across all application areas, with a driving concern of balancing competing pressures on what ought to be done, in collecting, sharing, analysing, reporting or otherwise working with data. Proposals on automation of decisions, evaluating ‘public benefit’ for data, and governance structures, as well as established ethical concerns around harms, consent, justice and rights, are equally welcome.
