Vision

A Focus on Every Student

Coming from a family of teachers and coaches in the Public School system, Coach Brey understands the value of physical activity on the OVERALL development of our youth and their success in school, and into adulthood. However, having coached and run his own basketball academy, he also understands the challenges to keep majority of students active and engaged with time, supervision and facility restraints. This is why he invented 360 Hoops, with the goal to get ALL students active - no matter their age, gender, skill level, etc.

ACTIVITY HAS COGNITIVE, SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL BENEFITS ON STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

While the need for physical activity continues to increase, the opportunity is declining through budget cuts, student growth per facility, etc.

The Solution

360 Hoops understands and has found a way that enables more players to be involved in basketball; utilizing less resources and putting more emphasis on key areas of development such as teamwork, inclusion, leadership and decision making.

COMMITTED TO YOUR SUCCESS

360 Hoops Curriculum Framework

Encouraging words from teachers and classmates can go a long way in boosting confidence in your students. Teaching these behaviors within your classroom will also help to build community and limit the opportunity for bullying. Teamwork is a vital skill for students to learn in preparation for life after
  • schooling. The problem is many students don’t take the time to participate in
team sports usually because they feel they lack the talent. The goal is to give every student an opportunity to be a valued member of the team and develop essential life skills in the process. Take some time in these sessions to walk your students through examples of positive conversations, encouragement, and teamwork. Let them know that their positive words will mentally prepare them and their teammates to be more successful during the activities!

TESTIMONIALS

Daryl Gill Hanna Alicia Hodge

“When Dr. Naismith invented the game of basketball, he invented it as a Physical Education teacher with the goal of getting students of every skill level

  • involved. I see 360 Hoops as just another evolution
  • f that original purpose.”

“In regular basketball all you have to do is stand and shoot or you’re just back and forth up and down the court. In 360 hoops you’re constantly moving around and you’re excited.” “One of our biggest challenges is getting every kid involved no matter what age they are or what their skill level is. After seeing this product at our club, my director asked me how can we get one IMMEDIATELY in every club?”
