TH THE BEGININGS Organising Events
My beginnings were really simple, after receiving my BA in Design from London 1997, I believed that I have a responsibility, one that is bigger than being a designer or an artist. I realised that many problems in the world are caused by ignorance. It all started at the residence of the Ambassador of KSA when I co-organised with HRH Princess Seeta Bader Al Saud an art and craft event benefitting 2 charities by buying hand crafted goods from Al Nahdha society from poor and disabled Saudi women and the sales went towards a British charity benefiting victims of wars in warzones.
THE BEGININGS Curating
Since 1999, I have been curating exhibitions promoting Arab/Islamic art globally focusing on contemporary Saudi Art. Exhibitions took places in Doulun museum in Shanghai, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and Brunei Gallery in SOAS University. After receiving my MA from Central Saint Martins 2000, I curated a calligraphy exhibition in 2001 at the October gallery in London celebrating the art of calligraphy from around the Middle East.

The methodology is not just the material cultures but through the implementation of actual dialogue including workshops, talks and education programs in schools and universities. Although it is my belief that the best institutions to harness these conversations and dialogue are institutions of heritage within the cultural field.
