Optical Services configured (one year running)

  • 77 fiber links lighted ( 3 submarine links)
  • 60 TROADMS colorless and direction less, where:
  • 5-degree -> 4
  • 4-degree -> 11
  • 3-degree -> 8
  • 2-degree -> 33
  • 1-degree -> 4
  • 127 lambdas x 10Gbps currently configured, but:
  • upto 80 lambdas x 10Gbps per link -> 6.160 lambdas x 10Gbps
  • upto 128 in submarine links
  • Protected lambdas: OSNCP 1+1 is configured
  • Flexible and quick process to set up lambdas: as example, a long link with

several bypass TROADMs takes about 20 minutes.

  • but not an easy process ( well-skilled technicians)

FIWAT project aims to provide developers and infrastructure for the promotion of Future Internet services based on the FI‐WARE platform

  • To be the FI‐WARE testbed
  • Provide a neutral environment for all

developers

  • Easily federated with FI-WARE

testbeds in other countries

  • Capable to support the future

Innovation Lab to run User Cases Trial Projects

  • To help companies to test and

certified services in the Future Internet environment

  • To connect with real smart cities

infraestructures to support services based on real open data
