Description of the Project • The first phase is development and implementation of a plan to increase the coal production in the region, with expansion of the coal market and the areas of sales. Capital expenditures are 1 450 million rubles. (19,08 mln. USD) • The second phase includes construction of a modern electrical power plant equipped with the most recent advanced technology; electricity production with reduction of harmful emissions into the environment; and further sales of the electricity as a finished product on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the border districts of the People’s Republic of China . Capital expenditures are 10 321 million rubles. (135,8 mln. USD)
Description of the Project • The Project involves construction of a coal thermal power plant «on the board» of the « Oikaragai » coal mine, with the electric power of 117.3 MW. Project implementation will take place in the framework of the existing enterprise LLP «RAIMBEK ENERGY GROUP» . • All necessary approval documents for the development and exploitation of a coal mine had been provided. According to the preliminary calculations 1. In the first phase , as a result of the coal and coal briquette sales, the first annual net revenue of the company forecasted 857 million rubles ( 11,2 million USD at the rate of 76 rub / USD). 2. In the second phase , as a result of the electricity sales, the first annual net revenue of the company forecasted 2 671 million rubles ( 35,1 million USD at the rate of 76 rub / USD).
