Financial Benefits

For the 8 month pilot Costs = £10,866 – Training, Pathway development, implementation, emails = £9,506 – Tablets x 8 @ £170 = £1,360 ____________________________________________________________________ Savings = £65,000 based on bed days saved for the 46 active patients – 69 admissions 2012/13 – 17 admissions 2013/14 – 52 admissions saved averaging 5 days each at £250 per day ____________________________________________________________________ Total projected saving of £54,134
