Mali, West Africa
- Mali is Africa’s third largest gold producing
country.
v Annual gold production in 2017 was 46.9 million tons ~1. 51million oz Au v >35 million oz Au of reserves v Recent new discoveries v Highly prospective and still underexplored v Major producers and Developers - Barrick, Anglo Gold Ashanti, B2Gold, Endeavour, Hummingbird, Resolute and BCM
- Desert Gold controls 3 large exploration permits
in strategic areas.
v SMSZ Project – along Senegal Mali Shear and Main Transcurrent Shear Zones v Segala West – between 9.8 million oz Loulo Mine and 3.3 million ounce Tabakoto Mine v Djimbala – Adjacent to 1.8 million ounce Yanfolia Mine

Western Gold Belt of Mali
- Desert Gold is targeting 1 to 6
million oz Au - >> $1 billion in metal
- Gold mineralization in Western Mali
is related to the Senegal Mali Shear Zone (“SMSZ”).
- Desert Gold’s properties are directly
- n and proximal to the SMSZ:
- Major deposits in close proximity to
Farabantourou and Segala West on the SMSZ:
v Yatela: 3.5 Moz v Sadiola: 8.1 Moz v Loulo: 9.8 Moz v Gounkoto: 4.4 Moz v Tabakoto & Segala: 3.3 Moz v Fekola: 6 Moz
SLIDE 7
SMSZ Project, West Mali
- 407 km2 Project spans the SMSZ
v SMSZ related to 30m + oz Au of production and Au reserves. v Significant drill results including 6.28 g/t Au over 13 meters. OPEN!
- 19 known sediment, volcanic and
intrusion-hosted gold zones v Mineralization style mimics that of the nearby sulphide-replacement altered, limestone-hosted Sadiola and Yatela deposits that are host to more than 8 million ounces of gold.
- Additional Upside
v >100 untested gold-in-soil anomalies >200 ppb
- 15,000 m+ drilling program planned to
start in Q4, 2019 and extend to July 2020
- 10,000 m+ auger drilling program
planned in Q4 and extend to July 2020
- Resource report tentatively planned for
Q3, 2020

- August 27, 2019, Desert Gold acquires
another 83 km2 land package from Altus
- Sept. 24, acquired Linguekoto concession
Transaction Highlights
- District-Scale Land Package - ~20 km
across by ~30 km long, ~407 km2
- Excellent Location on Prolific Senegal
Mali Shear (SMSZ) and Main Transcurrent Shear Zones (MTSZ) – The land package spans the SMSZ, which is related to 30 million + oz Au production and resources and the MTSZ, which hosts Barrick’s 3 million ounce Massawa Deposit.
- The Gourbassi East and Gourbassi
West zones significant resource potential
- Combined Properties host >17 known
Gold Zones

Segala West Project, West Mali
- The permit is 68km2 and just
east of the SMSZ and is currently under a renewal application.
- 7 large artisanal mining zones
exist within a 24 km2 geochemical soil anomaly.
- The property is located
between 6 million oz Au Loulo mine and the 3 million
- z Au Tabakoto mine.
- The property contains 310
gold in soil anomalies >200 ppb with a high of 10,000
- ppb. All require follow up.
- Most holes encountered
mineralization with best results
- f 5.35 g/t Au over 5m, 3.21 g/
t Au over 4m, 7.13 g Au over 1m, 7.16 g/t Au over 1m and 0.92 g/t Au over 22m.

Southern Gold Belt of Mali
- The 100 km2 Djimbala prospect is
proximal to several large mines and deposits
- Hummingbird’s Komana mine (1.8MM
- z Au) occurs just west of the Djimbala
permit and Endeavour’s Kalana deposit with 2MM oz is ~18 km south of Djimbala.
- It is also 15 km north of ~2 million oz
Au Kodieran mine.
- Bulk of the property has never been
explored even though it appears to be in the ‘right area’
- Follow-up to include first pass soil
sampling and mapping
