This four-semester interdisciplinary, project-based learning experience is designed around solving real- world problems—problems that make the course content relevant and meaningful. You'll work in teams to explore, discover, and recommend unique solutions as you develop analytical, professional, and interpersonal skills that employers identify as essential.

The program focuses on the 42 semester credit hour Texas Core Curriculum. Core requirements are common to all public colleges and universities in Texas. A completed Texas Core Curriculum is fully transferrable between public higher education institutions in Texas.

  • Fulfill UNT dual credit admissions criteria
  • Receive Frisco ISD approval
  • Be a Frisco ISD sophomore
  • Demonstrate college readiness in reading, writing and/or mathematics with one of

the following assessments:

UNT offers reduced tuition and fees for dual credit courses. Tuition = $50 per credit hour Fees = $25 per credit hour

*does not include textbooks, supplies, or a one-time application fee of $75

November 21- December 13: Submit a program request form December 17: Notification of acceptance begins

  • Selected by lottery if more than 60 requests
  • Students have 48 hours to accept invitation

January 31: Last day to apply to UNT April 24: Last day to register for UNT Classes May 5: Virtual Meet and Greet August 3 at 4pm: Pay Tuition and Fees August 24: UNT classes start
