Review: Project Goal
The NKCMC will examine the factors that impact the use
- f fixed-route transit, first-last mile solutions, and
community-based transportation options in the North King County (NKC) area (North Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park (LFP), Kenmore, Bothell, and Woodinville) and the surrounding region through data analysis and community engagement.

Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET) COVID-19 Impact
RARET Background
The Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET) workgroup is piloting key strategies to increase the critical transportation services available to populations with access and functional needs including older adults, people with disabilities, English-language learners, and others in the event of an emergency in the Puget Sound region.

providers resources for driving in adverse conditions such as preparing your vehicle for inclement weather, winter tires/snow chains, driving in inclement weather, and more 3.

- In 2020, RARET will focus on developing a network of
transportation providers in all 3 counties who are able to support in an emergency

Gathering information to increase situational awareness Tracking transportation providers’ level of operations including their ability to support with access to food, healthcare, and transporting COVID positive patients on a weekly basis Weekly transportation impact summaries to highlight the level of operations for transportation providers and community resources April newsletter featured resources about COVID-19 and call to action for partners share how RARET can support without duplicating efforts Send post-event survey to providers to assess impacts Complete after-action report
