How will NJEEDS be used?

To generate timely and accurate information about student outcomes that can be used to improve the state’s education and workforce systems and guide decision makers. To help policymakers, the public, educators, and workforce program mangers to produce accurate information that leads to better-informed decisions and to improve student learning and labor market outcomes.

What is NJEEDS?

Based at Rutgers University’s John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development and managed by a cross-state agency partnership A centralized, secure longitudinal data system that links information

  • n students and job holders from

three partner agencies: Higher Education, Education, and Labor and Workforce Development Overseen by a 12-member Data Advisory Council and a 15-member Data Stewards Work Group
