Benefits of Proposed Project
More spray nozzles produce finer mist for improved coverage of stockpile Spray poles in better locations for protecting against high winds Full automation to reduce water use Automation also contributes to increased responsiveness to changing weather conditions

Potential additional noise during construction hours
- Construction hours will be limited to 0700 – 1700 daily
- Potential to work once per month during the site shutdown from
1630 to 0100

Security Building Replacement and Paving
Two additional projects proposed for 2017 Projects are in the technical review stage of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority’s Project and Environmental Review process

New security building would replace the existing temporary structure Additional space would be created for safety and security training for all staff and contractors New gate configuration would allow easier access to large construction or delivery vehicles

New paved area is proposed to provide up to 30 additional parking spots for Neptune employees, and contractor bays for trailers and tool containers New catch basins would be installed to improve drainage Asphalt would facilitate easier clean up and storage of large projects-related materials
