- Outputs from the process

and GRM have supported the process of developing a National Rural WASH Database.
- NCU
and UNICEF are working to establish a link between the WASH database and WASH Atlas.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT:
Sector Website www.ncuwash.org
Support from ECHO through facilitation from GAA Website is going to play a dual role.
Digital library. Interactive tool for updating of sector database.
Work in progress through the same support is internet
connectivity to NCU for easier updating of the website and its subsequent launch. Field Technical Notes for WASH Facilities.
Objective is to improve workmanship with WASH structures. Target group include Local Community Based Artisans and
Extension Workers.

Water Policy:
Policy-Passed through cabinet and was endorsed late last
year.
Endorsed document with the MoWRDM for reproduction.
Guidelines for Hygiene Promotion in Urban Areas.
Developed by Urban Emergency Rehab Taskforce Document with NAC for adoption. WASH Cluster to review the document and profer comments. Sanitation and Hygiene Taskforce meeting on the 7th of
February to review the document.
Document to be shared through the Cluster Chair for
commending.
