The National Business Excellence Award (NBEA) is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognize the business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

Application will be evaluated on the basis of a 8 point criterion described below. Applications are reviewed and evaluated by members of the evaluation committee in a 3 stage process.
Evaluation Procedure
First Stage - Desk Review
Reviewed by technical panel and preliminary marks indicated.
Second Stage – Interviews by the PoJ
The Panel of Judges (PoJ) will conduct interviews of the short- listed organizations. (30 Marks will be awarded by PoJ).
Third Stage - Judges’ Final Review
The panel of Judges would make the final selection of winners.

- 6. Customer Concentration = % revenue from top 3 customers
- 7. Market concentration = % revenue from the biggest
