 The National Business Excellence Award (NBEA) is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognize the business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

 Application will be evaluated on the basis of a 8 point criterion described below.  Applications are reviewed and evaluated by members of the evaluation committee in a 3 stage process.

First Stage - Desk Review

 Reviewed by technical panel and preliminary marks indicated.

Second Stage – Interviews by the PoJ

 The Panel of Judges (PoJ) will conduct interviews of the short- listed organizations. (30 Marks will be awarded by PoJ).

Third Stage - Judges’ Final Review

 The panel of Judges would make the final selection of winners.
