Developing the Message  Having defined the core audience and desired outcome, work to the following principles:  Three primary messages (and relevant supporting data/proof-points)  Use relevant examples to illustrate your point  Simple, concise and to the point  Avoid jargon or complex terms  No motherhood statements and/or promotional ‘taglines’  Add ‘colour’, personality and emotion Be prepared to tailor and refine!!!
