I found Egypt on a map. It is a long way away. Can you Egypt see where the United Kingdom is?
I travelled by aeroplane from Manchester airport to Cairo airport
It was a very long journey it took us 11 hours. When we got there they put a stamp in my passport. This is my passport.
We went by coach to our hotel. This is our hotel it was huge! It was called the Grand Hyatt
The hotel had loads of great things in it. I loved the whirlpool best! We had our dinner looking over the city.
We went to see the pyramids and the sphinx. They were built a long time ago.
I even had a ride on a camel it was very exciting.
We looked at some Egyptian writing and pictures. They are called hieroglyphics.
Me and my dad went diving and saw some really exciting fish.
I had a wonderful trip to Egypt and now I’m off to put all my pictures in my scrapbook!
