Daily Routines  Students arriving prior to 8.20 line up behind prep Assembly - classes Monday 2pm  At 8.15 students are walked Odd weeks to undercover area by staff member Banking - Thursdays  Early morning messages are delivered during this time.  8.35 students released to walk to their classroom.  Doors open and students set themselves up for a successful day of learning

  5. BYOX This is the third year that Year 4 have taken part in the BYOX • (Bring your own device x-multiple devices) program. This exciting program provides students with many opportunities to prepare themselves for 21 st Century learning. Because we use these devices in the classroom on a daily basis, it is important that students ensure that they have fully charged their devices before coming to school. ONE NOTE – Class workbook • Websites – consent form • required for student access Tech support – Library help • desk before school, first lunch break and after school.

  17. Homework Homework will be handed out on Monday and is due in on Friday. Homework includes spelling, which is written out in their book each • Reading ading Log night of the week using the LOOK, SAY, COVER, WRITE, CHECK method. Multiplication Tables need to be done each week, this will include: • Spe pelling lling 2 x 5 = 10 (multiplication strategy) 10 ÷ 5 = 2 (turnaround) • Finish inish off 20 x 5 = 100 (extension strategy) Children should be reading for at least 15 minutes per night. While most subject bject work k in in On OneNote eNote children in Year 4 can read, they need help with their comprehension and vocabulary. Homework will also include some of the following each week, maths, problem solving, grammar, history and science. If your child is struggling with the homework it is important you come in and see you child’s teacher.

  20. Behaviour Management Class behaviour is managed cooperatively between students, teacher, parents and admin team. We all follow the college’s Responsible Behaviour Plan.
