While grades are very important, PLEASE DO NOT place such an emphasis on a number or letter that your child cannot do their best. We have moved back to 100% average grades not the Point grading system as we used at YES.

Fourth Nine Weeks: Division Facts

Tests: 50% Classwork: 40% Fact Fluency: 10%
Wonders/McGraw Hill – Our reading timeline for each story is approximately two weeks. We typically test every other Friday. *Chapter Books Spelling – spelling test will be give day before reading test. Students edit sentences in Spelling Tests. Grammar/Writing – Parts of speech and writing
Reading and Grammar/ Language Arts are now graded together as an ELA grade.
Reading Assessments: 40% Classwork: 40% Grammar/Spelling/Writing: 20%
