NEW FARMER Funding

Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program

  • Assembly Bill (AB) 134 and AB 109 passed in September 2017,

provided CARB with $135 million to reduce emissions from the agricultural sector.

  • MBARD was allotted $1.3 million in response to the large number
  • f agricultural equipment in this region
  • Provides funding for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-

duty trucks, ag pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in ag operations
