On average, school breakfast participation rises to more than 70% when schools implement a Breakfast after the Bell model versus 30% with a traditional model that serves breakfast in the cafeteria before school starts.

Our Accomplishments

  • Since 2014, MT No Kid Hungry has awarded grants to
  • ver $260,000 in privately funded grants to 73 schools

that have pledged to start a breakfast after the bell program.

  • There are now more than 145 schools across Montana

that have made breakfast a part of the school day.
