Providers such as Gmail also offer the unique feature of being able to ‘undo send’ for a short period imminently following the user hitting the ‘send’ button. While each of these could provide a satisfactory service it is notable that Gmail is particularly popular due to its simplicity of use and its integration with other Google software such as Google Drive. Choose an email service: You can sign up to any number of email services, including Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail. Each of these provide their services for free and provide features such as filtering systems, search capabilities and the ability to send and receive emails, images, videos and other attachments.

Keep it professional: it’s important to use an email which is unique to you, but to keep it appropriate to use for employability purposes, using your name e.g. name.surname@emailservice.com Keep it simple: By keeping it simple like the example above, so it’s easy for you and others to remember. If the name you use is common, use a simple number combination to help you remember e.g. name.surname.90@emailservice.com
