Guiding principle
chess as a school subject:
Chess is considered to be part of the educational mandate and should, therefore, be a firm part of the school curriculum. How this is implemented in detail can vary depending on the federal states, the districts, cities and communities, as well as the schools and kindergardens.

for schools and clubs:
- Schools, in general, will find it easy to
understand the benefits of chess.
- The clubs' should be able to use the
prerequisites at the schools.
- In principle the DSJ is active in the initiative of
e.g.: networking between schools and clubs,
- ffering assistance for clubs and providing training
courses

for training:
- The goal is a high-quality and standardised
training of chess teachers.
- The DSJ and the DSS promote teacher training
- The goal should be that future teacher training
in chess (university degree, if applicable)

Interlocking principle:
all contacts that promote the spread of chess should be cultivated and maintained. At the same time, one should always try to understand the position of the other, so that both sides profit from it in the long term.
