WIND RESOURCE MAP

  • The map depicts wind speed potential at

a height of 120m

  • The data used is taken from the

3 meteo masts

  • Map’s resolution of 200/200m grid
  • Resource map prepared using EMD

WindPro 2.7 modeling software and then visualized using a GIS application.

  • In 2008 wind park “MIROVCI” was started as a JV company between KAN an a strategic foreign

investor.

  • In 2013 due to some political and legislation changes the project was split up and partially sold.
  • All projects permits and more than 650 dka purchased land remain KAN’s ownership.
  • At this stage wind park “MIROVCI” wind power plant project capacity is about 100 MW
  • (22 wind turbines, 4.5MW capacity each) and a possibility for 40 additional MW (9 additional

turbines, 4.5MW each).

  • Construction permit (for foundation construction) received for 22 plots.
