James Lay
James Lay, our visionary and creator of Global Shield Ultra Sonic, has over 30 years’ experience in audio engineering, including expertise in areas of HFO (High Frequency Oscillation), SWCE (Standing Wave Creation and Elimination) and PCT (Phase Cancellation Techniques). His impressive resumé includes sound design for the Brad Pitt film Fight Club, the Will Smith film Ali, the Francis Ford Coppola Produced film Jeepers Creepers. James has utilized his technical expertise, along with expert consultants, to conceive and develop the vision of Global Shield’s proprietary technology.
Ted Smith
With over three decades of experience, Ted Smith is an Electronic Systems Designer with a background in lasers and industrial controls. Ted is also an accomplished technical instructor who has served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of laser safety (ANSI Z136.1), Safe Use of
- Lasers. Ted served as a judge for new laser technologies
through the International Laser Display Association (ILDA). Ted is also a beta tester and script developer for Pangolin BEYOND laser control software. He is the owner of Lasersmith Light Show Systems, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
