2012: Catheterization Lab for the University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka CT

Scans for University Teaching Hospital, Livingstone General Hospital, Kitwe and Ndola Central Hospitals

2013: MRI for Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital & UTH, 3 CT Scans are in

the process of being acquired for selected remotely located hospitals using government funds (Kasama, Kabwe and Chipata General Hospitals)

Services: Internal medicine, laboratory services, blood bank services,

  • bstetrics and gynaecology, physiotherapy, oncology, radiology, theatre

services, surgery, mental health, outpatient departments, haematology and all the clinical subspecialties

Mobile and Emergency Health Services

To form trauma, emergency and response teams (TERTs) at

national, provincial and district level

A ministerial task force for implementation of
