12 March 2012 – Ministerial announcement of €2bn investment in schools over the next 5 years. Traditional Funding source, i.e. Exchequer funded. Programme includes replacement schools, school extensions and alterations to existing schools. Programme delivery to be supported by VEC’s, NDFA, OPW and Local Authorities in addition to local schools and Department. NDFA engaged to support the delivery of 17 schools.

Call off contracts will be awarded from this framework.
- Bundle 1 & Bundle 2 have been issued for tender. Sept / Oct returns.
- Bundle 3 to be issued in August for Nov return.
