Degree Requirements

MBA Program – Academic Affairs

19 credit units

  • 15 credit units must be from Wharton

classes, including core and major

  • 4 credit units can come from dual degree

programs, graduate-level Penn classes and/or exchange programs

  • Your 4 semesters of Wharton tuition

covers 21 credit units thus you have 2 surplus credit units in addition to the above requirements

MBA REQUIREMENTS 10 credit units

  • 6 required courses (CIT 591, 592,

593, 594, 595 & 596)

  • 4 elective graduate-level credit

units, at least 3 of which must be a CIS course and one may be an approved non-CIS course
