Captain: Matt Callaway Nationality: Australian Matt grew up on Port Phillip Bay near Melbourne, Australia and has been in and around the water all of his life, sailing since he was 5 years old. Matt started working in the yachting and charter industry in 1988 spending two years on a square rigged brigantine around the Whitsunday Islands in NE Australia. Since 1991 Matt has been captain on various sailing and motor yachts based in the Americas and since ’97 in the Mediterranean, commanding vessels in the majority of the world’s oceans and seas. Matt’s interests include yacht racing, alpine skiing, motor racing, science, technology and reading. He is married with two sons and live in SE France. Chief Officer: Mike White Nationality: New Zealand Mike started in the superyacht industry in 2011 on a 26m motor yacht as deckhand/engineer before moving up to Captain on the same vessel. He then gained further experience on motor yachts as Chief Officer on a 55m cruising the Mediterranean Sea. Mike’s background prior to yachting was with the NZ Coastguard back in his home country. He has been on board Blush since beginning of 2015. His interests are travel, outdoors and watersports Chief Stewardess: Claire Williams Nationality: New Zealand For the past 3 years Clare has been employed as Chief Stewardess on several busy yachts with frequent owner use and back to back charters with 9 years of industry experience. She is used to the demands of the highest standards of service, detailing, presentation and guest relations. Being passionate about her career Clare is a hard worker, very motivated and aims to make every guests experience on board Blush exceptional. Clare’s interests are outdoor activities, Water sports/hiking, Photography and exploring new places.

Chef: James Lissiman Nationality: New Zealander James is a highly experienced Chef having trained as a Navy Chef before becoming a kitchen designer. He then joined the yachting industry, giving him the opportunity to travel round the Pacific, South East Asia, through the Mediterranean and even up to Scotland on a wide range of motor and sailing yachts from 30-76m. James has a vast knowledge of most cuisine types and dietary requirements, specialising in diverse Asian cuisine. He enjoys involving himself in the local cuisines of the cruising regions and sourcing only the finest of produce. When not creating something delicious in the galley he enjoys kitesurfing, paddle boarding, sailing and photography. Chief Engineer: Benjamin Roge Nationality: French Ben is an extremely capable engineer who has been aboard Blush since February 2015. Prior to Blush he was involved in Superyachts for 10 years initially as deckhand and now engineer on various vessels ranging from 13 to 78m gaining extensive experience on all types of propulsion equipment. Ben’s interests consist of Rugby that he played for 10 years, travelling, snowboarding and anything to do with the sea. Bosun: Billy Stevens Nationality: British Billy joins us on Blush after a 6 year yachting career to date. At a very early age he was involved with watersports and at 15 years old was sailing for the Great Britain junior squad. Billy is qualified as an RYA instructor in several disciplines including dinghy racing, multihull, windsurfing and powerboats, he is also our onboard PWC instructor. Since 2009 he has been gaining experience in the yachting industry from sailing yachts to motor yachts up to 69 metres. Billy’s water sports interests include water skiing, windsurfing, dinghy and yacht racing, kitesurfing and scuba diving. He also recently completed a 14,000 mile trip on his motorbike from London to Cape Town through fifteen countries in 4 months.
