RELEASE (REVISION REQUEST)OVERVIEW

RR352 – DA RUC Posting Timing

• Synopsis: This revision request adds in language stating the DA

RUC process will begin by 13:45 or 45 minutes, whichever is later, following the posting of the Day-Ahead Market Results. This will ensure a static, consistent known DA RUC process start time. RR365 – Day-Ahead Market Timeline

• Synopsis: This revision request modifies the posting of the Day-

Ahead Market awards from 14:00 to 13:00, which allows for a shorter Day-Ahead Market timeframe, building upon the performance and process improvements implemented by SPP .

MARKET PARTICIPANT TESTING

• Unstructured testing will begin on 3/2/20 studying for OD 3/3/20

with the results posted at 2:00 pm and will continue through 3/13/20

• Unstructured testing will begin on 3/16/20 studying for OD

3/17/20 with the results posted at 1:00 pm and will continue through 4/10/20

• Every MP who participates in the Day Ahead Market is impacted

and is recommended to test

• Please execute applicable test cases and submit complete

spreadsheet via RMS

• Markets Testing only, no Bid to Bill (No Settlements Involvement)

TEST ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION

• Member Testing Environment (MTE)
• Supported: Monday –Friday, 8:00am to

5:00pm CPT

• Market Participants
• Verify test cases applicable to entity
• Please turn in your testing results spreadsheet as soon as testing

is complete but no later than 04/10/20 via RMS

• Contact SPP with all questions or for assistance via RMS (Quick
