  4. Broad Run High School Band Boosters Association (BRHSBBA) A non-profit, board-led group of parents that provides funding, volunteer support and outreach for all of Broad Run’s band programs. ALL parents of students who participate in Marching Band or Indoor Programs are members of the BRHSBBA.

Attendance Policy • Absences must be arranged in advance unless there is an emergency • Absences require a note, phone call or email from parent/guardian to the Band Director • Each missed practice hinders the progress of the group! • DO NOT MISS PERFORMANCES! The success of the group depends on YOU!

  10. Rehearsal Expectations • Start ON TIME and end ON TIME • Fast paced • Stay focused! • Have fun! • Be prepared! • ALWAYS have music, drill book, materials, and equipment necessary for a successful rehearsal • ALWAYS have a full water bottle!

Football Games FOR STUDENTS: FOR PARENTS: • Be ready and prepared to • Marching Spartans have a play and perform section in home bleachers • Keep the Band Staff and (only members and parent the Drum Major in sight chaperones allowed!) • 3 rd quarter break for • Band parents sit in Band concessions (bring cheering section next to Band money) • Marching Spartans are appropriate, enthusiastic, sportsmanlike and SPIRITED!

  12. Lock-Ins • Before every home football game • Rehearsal time • Team Building time • Report to Band Room immediately after school (come to school prepared!) • BBA provides dinner for Marching Spartan members • Stay until the conclusion of the football game

  29. What To Do Now 1. New Marchers, and any returning Marchers who aren’t pre- registered, need to visit the Registration Station to complete the Online Registration process. 2. Marchers who need Dinkles need to visit the Dinkles station to be fitted or to sign up to be fitted during band camp. 3. Color Guard Members need to visit the Color Guard station to be measured for show costumes. 4. Make checks payable to BRHSBBA, or have your cash or credit card ready (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). 5. Still Have Questions?
