Gender Care Initiative (GCI) – Lagos State GCI staff during advocacy visit to Lagos State Ministry of Health What they did: Advocacy visits to Lagos Ministry of Health (MOH) What they achieved : The Lagos State MOH agreed to partner with GCI and invited the organization to participate in the next immunization plus exercise week Next steps: Organize activities in partnership with Lagos State Ministry of Health during the immunization plus exercise week 21 st – 26 th of April 2017

Women’s Initiative for Self -Actualization – Akwa Ibom State What they did : One day training for staff of WAVA members in Akwa Ibom What they achieved: Capacity building of staff on sustainable immunization financing and advocacy. African Youth Initiative on Population Health and Development (AfrYPoD) – FCT Name of Project : Youth Advocacy for Sustainable and Equitable Vaccine Access (YASEVA) What they did: Engaged other CSOs as implementing partners for advocacy on vaccine financing What they achieved: Five CSOs in FCT and three CSOs in Enugu agreed to partner with AfrYPoD in advocating for vaccine financing Implementing Partners’ meeting in FCT Next Steps: • Develop YASEVA Advocacy Guide for youth advocates • Develop YASEWA debate guide • Conduct one day workshop for youth advocated • Continue preparations for school debate • Continue ‘My Vaccine My Life’ blog Implementing Partners’ meeting in Enugu series
