If current trends of water usage continue, the world could suffer a 40 percent shortfall in water supply by 2030, just 15 years down the line.

ACCORDING TO THE 2015 UNITED NATIONS WORLD WATER DEVELOPMENT REPORT,

slide-5
SLIDE 5

The global water shortage will be a catastrophe unless we take action.

  • Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest city, is now running on emergency reserves of

water and has started rationing because of the lack of precipitation, the Global Drought Information System reported.—USA Today, July 2015

  • Right now the state [of California] has only about one year of water

supply left in its reservoirs, and our strategic backup supply, groundwater, is rapidly disappearing. California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega- drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for

  • rain. —LA Times, March 2015
  • Given the current trajectory, we're on track for ice-free summer

conditions in the Arctic in a matter of a decade or two... There is a similar story with the continental ice sheets, which are losing ice — and contributing to sea level rise — at a faster rate than the [earlier IPCC] models had predicted.” —Michael Mann, the Director of the Earth Systems Science Center at Penn State, September 2013

  • The World Bank estimates that 1.1 billion people lack access to safe

drinking water and results in the death of over 3.6 million annually.

  • The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) in the Philippines

released P1.73 billion ($39.73 million*) to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the implementation of water supply projects nationwide.

A strong contributor to the solution.

Abundant

There are 3.1 quadrillion gallons of water in the atmosphere at any given time.

Productive

Our Residential AirWater is capable of producing up to 8 gallons of pure drinking water per day.

Cost-efgective

Each AirWater gallon produced costs as little as 20¢.

Pure

AirWater is 99.9% pure, far exceeding EPA requirements.

Adaptive

Sufficient water can be generated with humidity between 25-95%.

Earth Friendly

Generating water at the point of consumption reduces impact caused by collection, use and transportation of water.

Is there enough water in the air?

  • Water is an exceptionally interesting chemical with many

important implications for life on Earth and the circulation of the

  • atmosphere. It is the only chemical that naturally exists in all

three phases (solid, liquid, and gas) in our atmosphere.

  • At any moment, the atmosphere contains an astounding 37.5

million billion gallons of water, in the invisible vapor phase. This is enough water to cover the entire surface of the Earth (land and

  • cean) with one inch of rain.
  • What’s more, this amount of water is recycled 40 times each year

in what is known as the hydrological cycle. That means a water vapor molecule has an average residence time in the atmosphere

  • f only nine days: the raindrop that fell on your head last Tuesday
  • n average had evaporated into the atmosphere nine days before.
  • This huge amount of water is processed through an endless cycle
  • f evaporation, condensation, and precipitation all over the globe.

Evaporating water requires energy – in fact, it takes 600 calories

  • f energy to evaporate each gram. When that gram of water

condenses back into liquid, that same amount of energy is released back into the atmosphere.

Filtration

  • LF2 Carbon: Removes ammonia, chlorine residue,
  • rganic compounds, soil particles, dirt etc.
  • Pre-Carbon Filter 1 & 2: Removes Volatile Organic

Compounds and improves water taste and smell.

  • Reverse Osmosis Membrane: Removes dangerous

bacteria, viruses, mineral salts, heavy metals,

  • rganic compounds.
  • Mineral Filter: Replaces minerals removed during

Reverse Osmosis.

  • Alkaline: Changes the alkaline properties of water

from an average reading of 7 to the range of 7 to 9.5 which is a beneficial range for us to drink.

  • Sediment: Removes Micro-Particles to protect

water pump.

  • U/V: Sanitizes and prevents growth of bacteria and
  • ther microorganisms in the system.
  • Molecular Sieve: Traps any fine particles that

maybe suspended in the water.

The 3 Benefits

  • f our Residential AWG…
slide-14
SLIDE 14

Residential

  • No. 1: Alkaline Benefits
  • Oxygenate / Antioxidants: Alkaline water acts as an antioxidant, scavenging

for and neutralizing harmful free radicals. Cancer and most other illnesses cannot survive in an oxygenated, alkaline environment.

  • Enhance your immune system: Maximizes your body’s ability to fight off

disease and heal itself

  • Detoxify: Removes normal acidic waste products accumulated daily, plus

remove toxins accumulated in your body.

  • Hydrate: Alkaline water filter forms your water into micro clusters that are

more easily absorbed at the cellular levels thus “super hydrating” your body.

  • Alkalize’s your body’s pH: Alkaline water helps balance the body’s pH,

which tends to be acidic.

Addressing the
 Bottled Water Issue

  • Only about 12 percent of "custom" plastic bottles, a

category dominated by water, were recycled in 2003, according to industry consultant R.W. Beck, Inc. That's 40 million bottles (USA) a day that went into the trash or became litter.

  • In contrast, the recycling rate for plastic soft drink

bottles is around 30 percent. Millions of tons of greenhouse gases are generated in the manufacture and transport of plastic bottles.

  • The use of AWG in commercial, tourism, hospitality

and MICE sectors where most bottled water is consumed will reduce the supply of earth-choking plastic bottles.

  • Plastic bottles also pose a health risk with leaching of

volatile organic compounds. Harvard School of Public Health researchers traced the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) in the urine of college students who drank from polycarbonate bottles. BPA is known to interfere with the reproductive development of animals and might also be associated with heart disease and diabetes
